The Timothy Project is an ecumenical agency that coordinates missions , retreats and recreation for church groups.
Our summer missions are youth oriented and seek to connect youth with opportunities to serve, learn and grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and others. Retreats and recreation include snow skiing in the winter months, whitewater rafting in other seasons as well as other occasional retreats.

Charleston, SC Mission Weeks
2012 Dates: July 14-20, 2012 or July 21-27, 2012
Charleston, SC is among the oldest cities in the US and the second largest city in SC. Located at the confluence of the Cooper and Ashley Rivers, it is known as The Holy City, owing to the number of historic churches and its history of religious tolerance. The Timothy Project partners with Metanoia, St. Matthew Baptist Church, and other local agencies to help coordinate mission projects in the rebuliding neighborhoods of North Charleston.

Asheville, NC Mission Weeks
2012 Dates: July 29-August 3, 2012 or August 5-10, 2012
Asheville is the largest town in Western North Carolina Mountain Region. The Timothy Projects partners with ABCCM, Buncombe County Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels, and Manna food bank, to name a few, to coordinate mission work during the Asheville mission weeks.
Madison County, NC Mission Weeks
2012 Dates: June 17-22, 2012 or June 24-29, 2012
Madison County is in the Great Smoky Mountains region of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, bordering Tennessee. It is an area of mountains and valleys, with small farms and homesteads. The Timothy Project partners with Community Housing Coalition of Madison County, Independent Living of Western NC, and Mars Hill Baptist Church to cooridnate mission projects for the Madison County, NC mission weeks.
Cumberland Gap, KY Mission Week
2012 Dates: June 9-15, 2012
Bell County is located near the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, famous for the pioneer movement west, and the trailblazing Daniel Boone. The states of Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia converge here. With a population of about 10,000, Middlesboro is the largest town in Bell County and has the distinction of being the only known US town to be built within a meteor crater. Really! With the decline of the coal industry, the area has struggled to find a sustainable economy.

The Timothy Project retreats are dynamic in content and may include snow skiing, whitewater rafting or service projects.
